![]() ![]() My laptop is Asus Vivobook 14X if that's of any importance. It started behaving like that from the first time it was installed. I tried reemerging the package, but nothing changed. I also have the emerge build log, but it's 60M and wgetpaste won't let me use it. ![]() # CONFIG_X86_PLATFORM_DRIVERS_HP is not set Here's the config diff - not much changed: vbook /boot # diff config-6.1.27-gentoo-dist config-6.1.31-gentoo-dist So I've been using that kernel for a while but I need to find out what's wrong with the new one. I have the previous kernel - 6.1.27-gentoo-dist and it boots without any issues. It stops when it's trying to create a udev rule for a symlink to /dev/root I think? Before OpenRC fires up, I can see that the kernel panicked and printed out some errors (can't scroll, so not sure what's that about), but the booting continues - Dracut finds the root filesystem and starts its thing. ![]() I can't post any logs because it stops booting before the default runlevel. I'm having an issue with 6.1.31-gentoo-dist kernel. ![]()
